The 21st Annual Fashion Week Sacramento is approaching, and we are looking for the faces, the walks, and the professionalism to bring next season’s collections to life.

DMR Productions is holding two major open casting calls. Designers will be on-site scouting talent. If you want to book the job, you need to be in the room.

Here are the details on how to secure your spot on the runway.

THE DATES & LOCATIONS

We are offering two opportunities to audition. We highly recommend pre-registering to expedite your check-in process.

CASTING DAY 1 🗓 Saturday, January 17, 2026 ⏰ 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM 📍 Work of Heart Studio 1812 J Street, Sacramento, CA

CASTING DAY 2 🗓 Saturday, January 24, 2026 ⏰ 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM 📍 ATRIUM (Old Sacramento) 1020 Front St, Old Sacramento, CA **

HOW TO GET BOOKED: THE UNIFORM

Designers are casting a "blank canvas." They need to see your silhouette, your proportions, and most importantly, your walk. Do not distract them with personal style.

THE DRESS CODE (Strictly Enforced):

  • Outfit: ALL BLACK. Form-fitting clothing only. Think black skinny jeans/leggings and a fitted black tank top or t-shirt.

    • NO baggy clothes, coats, or oversized layers.

  • Shoes (Women): Stilettos or classic pumps. We need to see foot articulation.

    • NO wedges, platforms, or chunky block heels.

  • Shoes (Men): Dress shoes or clean, low-profile sneakers.

  • Hair: Pulled back tightly into a ponytail or bun, out of your face. Be prepared to take it down if asked by a designer.

  • Face: Fresh face or minimal "no-makeup" makeup.

  • General: No excessive jewelry or chewing gum.

THE PROCESS: WHAT TO EXPECT

  1. Pre-Register: Follow the link below to pre-register and save time on the day.

  2. Check-In: Upon arrival, you will check in at the registration desk to confirm your details.

  3. Measurements: A staff member will verify your height and basic measurements.

  4. Get Your Number: You will be assigned a casting number sticker, placed visibly on your hip or chest.

  5. The Walk: You will line up and enter the casting area in groups of five, sorted roughly by height. You will walk one by one for the casting panel.

  6. Social: Be ready to snap a quick photo with your number for our casting database and social media.
