Dress Up Wine Down 2025 - Recap

It was an incredible day on Saturday, May 17th! Dress Up Wine Down 2025 was a truly vibrant collaboration among The Handle District, Lodi Wine, and Fashion Week Sacramento. The event took over the block between 18th & 19th on Capitol Street, transforming it into a hub of high fashion, delicious wines, and heartfelt community support for WEAVE Inc.

The street pulsed with energy as crowds gathered as they sipped wine, eager to witness the runway showcase on an elevated runway down Capitol Street.

The dazzling runway show, presented by Fashion Week Sacramento and expertly managed by Duane Ram and Felicia Strati, kicked off promptly at 5:45 PM. It was a highlight of the evening, proudly featuring incredible collections from local talents including Richard Hallmarq, Felicia Strati Boutique, Ladybuggz Boutique, Heart Clothing Boutique, and Tuxedo Den. With a host of talented models showcasing these designs, and special thanks to Go Roots Salon and our accomplished hair and makeup artists, the show felt like it had "extra energy and sparkle" this year, drawing a strong, engaged crowd from start to finish.

A special shout-out to the event's hosts, Stylist Thalia Castro-Vega and FOX40 Morning Anchor Bianca Ventura, whose fantastic energy elevated the event's presence!

We are ecstatic to announce that a remarkable $4,128 was raised on Saturday! This year’s total is over $1,000 more than last year, a truly incredible achievement largely driven by Venmo contributions. Beyond the funds, the event was a powerful opportunity to connect with new faces and spread awareness about WEAVE’s vital mission.
